You’re pushing at 10PM to 12AM body time on THE FIRST LEG, often, and for a 6+ hour duty day. How can a normal middle-aged person recover to anything approaching 70% capacity in the 24 hours after that?
Honestly, I believe the reason that more people don’t call out fatigued on these because they’re fatigued every single time. They’re USED to it.
The only truly safe way to do these is one leg out, DH back, done. My 2¢
