Quote: Whatever they do they need to do it quickly. Personally I'd imagine a townhall this quickly after the last one, right after they got their solid numbers of who took the money and who didn't is a sign that they're going to offer something.

Whether or not it's enough remains to be seen.
We shall see, I'm not holding my breath.

In other news, the list that came out today shows 26 Capts leaving for elsewhere (including the person in all the PSA Banner Ads) and 14 FOs, while roughly 20 are still on the list but in class at AA.

Good times.

There were also AA WO pilots sitting in AAs new hire class last week that are planning on bailing on AA as soon as they get their bonus checks in 2 weeks. They already have class dates elsewhere. Some people would rather fly purple boxes.

Heck, even Part 91 corporate flight departments realize the need to sweeten their deals... I chatted with another captain during a plane swap last week that had an interview in Columbus with a company that was willing to start out at $130K a year, a great 401K, and 1,000 hours of sick leave each year.

1000hr sick for a salary job? What does that even equate to? 40hr week = 25 weeks. 24hr per day = 41 days.
