All true, though everyone keep in mind this is more for mental health issues/ratings. If you have musculoskeletal issues like a slipped disc, tinnitus, sciatica, bad knees, etc., my experience has been that these are fairly objective injuries that you can claim with the VA and FAA and still get a first class in most circumstances. Just remember to get these documented by a doc before you get out because proving service connection with the VA if you wait to make a claim until years after you get out can be challenging to say the least and it's a lot easier if you have proof the injuries occurred while on AD.Originally Posted by rickair7777
