On first look… getting a taste of international makes the 7ER intriguing. The wide usage and growing fleets make the 737 and 320 appealing. And the best relative seniority makes the 717 appealing. What other factors and fleet plans should I be taking into consideration?

For context, I plan to live close to ATL so commutability isn’t a big concern. I prefer relaxed trips (4 legs/day or fewer, and overnights long enough that I can get out of the hotel for several hours) over short but exhausting trips.

I am interested in the differences in earning potential between these airframes as a low seniority B, but willing to factor the availability of GS’s into that math.

How does days off per month compare amongst these airframes for ATL crews?

I appreciate any assistance y’all provide. This is a big decision, but difficult to make as a new hire.

No. way, way less than that. Like less than a year probably. Plus, lines go less than 80% pretty regularly, but unpredictably depending on time of year.

I was hired in Nov, will most likely hold a line in June or July, in ATL.

Heard a rumor we are still looking to hire another 2500 this year. No one hired up to this point will be a reserve very long.

That would be 350 a month. More likely they meant 2500 before another year from now. So may 2023 which is kinda what the promise was.
