Quote: Vacation better not change. Thats a NO.
Exactly.

Whenever the TA is presented, if VAC is touched in any way... NO

Be ready for the full-on sales pitch though.

Uhhhhhhh there is already a slight change but they claim it won’t affect anything. Let’s wait for the details

That's pretty good! Lol.

Secondary Lie-flat vacation passover pancakes with purple DH syrup for a low price of Delta minus a handful of nickels.

#No concessions!!!

What if the only change to vacation is that you can sell 50% of it back?

What’s so spectacular about FedEx vacation as it compares to other airlines? More time off, or the ability to schedule it better? I seem to remember being able to slide vacation forward or backwards a few days to cover up trips. That was a number of years ago though and at a regional level.

Since we have line bidding for line holders (no PBS) we can knock out entire trips.

Vacation pay per day is 6 credit hours.
Total vacation value (Vacation Days * hours) leads all airlines every year and maxes out at 216 hours
Can slide vacation +- 5 days to knock out trips to an unlimited value
-If the slide is within 48 hours of the end of an international trip it drops
Line holders can expand vacation in either direction to conflict trips to a maximum of 6CH over the original vacation period value
Reserve line holders get 48 hour buffer around their vacation blocks and they can extend using a formula in the CBA. Reserves get leveling for vacation days.
Secondary line holders have a bunch of pluses.

Vacation is pretty dope at FedEx.

Good luck. Currently our management hasn’t even agreed to come up to our nearest competitors contract extension pay rates. That came directly from the mouth of the NC Chair.
