Quote: A friend working at Endeavor? Oh boy.......

Lets dive in to Delta's marketing plan, shall we?

Delta is moving towards a all E175 fleet for their Delta Connection feed, that is obvious. My guess is, what you will see happen is Endeavor is going to end up with the former Compass tails that will come from Republic and SkyWest to start things off. Once Endeavor has their feet on the ground and a 175 program is out of its growing pains phase, you will gradually see the CRJ fleet start to dwindle down as 175's start to replace them. Both Endeavor and SkyWest are seeing a reduction of flying for DL due to the CRJ200 going away, and that has been known for quite sometime.

Delta will continue to maximize EVERY regional jet they are allowed under scope, regardless of how many 717's or 220's they are flying. I don't know why people have such a hard time grasping this concept.
Oh yea. There is no doubt if Endeavor had the Captains and hadn’t lost 500 pilots over the last several years that Delta would be flying as many 900’s as possible and the 200’s would still be here . They would be maximizing the 76 seaters to the max if they could . Obviously some of the longer Texas and Florida routes Endeavor was doing went to the 220 . Some of the other posts are saying that Delta wants to bring as much regional flying to mainline as possible? That is not even close to being true. They are only doing more “regional” flying on the 220/717 because the regionals are shrinking and they are forced to . I mean Delta completely violated the PWA agreement on max 76 seaters allowed to fly to get the flow through and a judge ruled in their favor . I completely agree with your assessment. Over time if Endeavor does not grow again we will just have some of the newer 900’s and 175’s and the older 900’s will be ferried out to kingman to become a home for the rattlesnakes 😂😂 . If we keep losing 70 a month and they can’t keep captains the whole thing may eventually be absolved into mainline or dissolved or they might just bring the Metroliner or F27’s out of moth balls 😂😂.

…absolved…

Do you mean resolved or absorbed?

Autocorrect can be a bear.

My guess that attrition stays 50-70 until doomsday. EDV won’t have any captains left here soon (outside of company top 200) and there will be no new captains upcoming. DEC pool is dried up, and not much as far as FO’s getting hours with company and upgrading to serve extended CA time at EDV. Writing is on the wall.

Havent seen official attrition numbers for April but the ISL is a net -14 from last month.
