The Endeavor website says you work for a wholly owned subsidiary.

I'm leaning towards the kool aid for new hires is getting stronger. I was a mentor before I left edv early this year. Majority of my mentees couldn't comprehend why I was turning down a flow to delta in 16 months and starting at another legacy carrier.

Pretty sure Lizzy is at OO. Just a guess based on post history.

There sure were a lot of starry eyed new hires at 9E, though.

Last month climbed back up to 59. Seems like everybody is realizing they can get seniority at UAL/AA yesterday while the flow moves at a snails pace. Large wave of propel young captains about, and there’s virtually no high time FO’s left to upgrade and/or when they do they leave. Hordes of senior experience is leaving EDV, and half the LCA’s are gone before July. Forced upgrades is a nothing burger that won’t have an effect in CA numbers, in fact it’ll probably drain more senior FO’s. Only solution is handing seniority out to Captains in packs of 100 a month. Hold back as necessary to operate the RJ’s. Seniority is the ONLY thing that matters.

Delta employees get profit sharing, I thought you were also a Delta employee?

Well that’s not going to happen. You’ll get your seniority number when you arrive on property like everyone else.

So you have a choice, actually you have a lot of choices.

Internet says DL bought a few more 717s to use as parts to get the fleet up to 88 planes by end of year. More mainline jobs for those who want them.

The March attrition was pretty interesting. The vast majority of pilots are going to DL (flow + OTS) and UAL. The attrition to AA has appeared to fallen off a cliff, in fact several people that left to go to AA are now leaving to go to DL. Also appears that DL is taking OTS again from 9E as I know 2 people that are leaving this month via OTS.

Comair was shut down in a retaliatory move by Delta MGT/Delta pilots at a time when Delta had multiple regionals, there was a surplus of pilots and the economy was in the tank . Delta then spread the Comair assets throughout all the other regionals .. we all know the regional model is a scam and always has been . I applauded the Comair folks for standing up for what was right. Unfortunately they stood up at a time when regionals had zero leverage and they paid the price . Fighting for what’s right isn’t always easy …Fast forward to Endeavor . The folks at Endeavor were just “Rowing” along minding our own business as you put it in your other post and then Covid hit . As a result of the early outs / retirements and then the resulting Tsunami of flying that returned after Covid , the industry ( especially the regionals ) have experienced the worst attrition and staffing in history. We didn’t “demand” anything . It came to us . Delta had to resort to the Flow, retention pay and 60 percent pay raises to keep Endeavor going . Both Endeavor Alpa and Delta Alpa sat down with Delta/Endeavor MGT and tried to explain to them that money wasn’t going to be enough and that the only solution long term was advanced seniority or absorption into mainline . Jason Ambrosi was the one leading the way on this , Not Lizzy and me . It’s not Lizzy and me “embarrassingly” demanding SLI. It’s the market and circumstances exposing the WO regional scam model for what it is : CRAP and a SHELL GAME and all Lizzy and myself are doing is recognizing the obvious that finally after 40 years the scam regional model is dying . Also in case you haven’t noticed Delta can’t even staff the the planes and flying that are on the mainline certificate. They are canceling hundreds and hundreds of flights due to “crew availability” and not many Delta pilots are picking up open time or GS flying without positive space. Same at Endeavor . There is no way they could bring a few hundred RJ 9’s over to mainline without the Endeavor pilots/employees. Ain’t gonna happen . There would be absolutely no pilots to fly those additional planes . Nobody knows what the final outcome will be but there is so much flying that has to be done that Delta can’t afford to lose any flying regarding Endeavor , especially if Republic stops Delta flying and Skywest can’t cover all the Delta flying that they try and agree to. Skywest is always canceling stuff.
Delta pilots had a role in shutting down Comair? We were not even on speaking terms with the CEO and you have us dictating policy to him!
