In regards to Piedmont, it's like I said before: Their biggest asset is their pilots. At the end of the day AA needs those pilots regardless of which aircraft they are flying. In other words: Piedmont is NOT going anywhere regardless of how you vote. Just as Envoy IS NOT going anywhere.
A NO vote by Piedmont may, JUST MAY put both airlines (Piedmont and Envoy) back in the driver's seat and bring enhanced contract proposals. On the other hand, a YES vote by Piedmont would just drag out these horrible PSA style contracts for the next decade.
A no Vote "May" shut down the airline of only 300 pilots. Hard to replace them?? hahahahah Hello Airwiskey! We'd like to extend our current contract for 5 more years. Replacing an airline with 25 year old Dash's and only 300 pilots is kinda easy. Nothing compared to Envoy. Plus you guys had a get out of jail free card! How many senior guys that are now at American would've voted NO if they didn't have the flow in there pocket?? I remember a bunch saying, "screw it! shut it down! We'll just Flow!" And So basically Eagle was gonna get all the E-175's??? Where did that leave PDT people?
