Hi!

Any thoughts on NWA hiring after the merger's approved, and before DAL starts doing all the hiring???

The Abbott's pants are 100% wool I believe. I've had M&H before but they only looked good for a few months of wear. I've had the jacket for seven years and it still looks new. The material is much better and they fit the uniform to you if you can come into them or send them measurements.

Thanks DAL.

Another question: Why in the world do your epaulets cost $15! I mean like are the stripes made of gold or something?

(Yes, I am a cheap pilot.)

Why wouldn't you just wear your old epaulettes?

Had no clue they were that expensive. I always thought they were around $8. If you really want to save a few bucks put a post on the regional forum for Pinnacle or Comair epaulets. Maybe someone upgrading will sell you theirs for penny's on the dollar as they are same black and gold as us.

Weren't NWA stripes black and gold?

I thought theirs were black and Navy.
I just got another pair at Crew Outfitters and they were 13.99 and last year they were 7.99. I guess inflation is hitting this too.

It costs more in gas to drive them from the factory to the store.

Yeah each pair costs one gallon of gas.
I just think that Crew Outfitters is taking advantage of a captive audience. (As always) I have never for a good deal there.

Ours are blue and gold and I don't want to get fired for having an improper uniform.

Believe me, I won't be getting those $15 ones. I'm sure the cheapie ones will be just fine.
