I am doing a presentation about future retirements in US major airlines. Anyone with specific numbers per year for retirements for United and USair, I would be greatly appreciative for them.

Have you tried contacting the PR dept's at United and USAir? One would think that your presentation would carry more validity if the numbers came straight from the source.

Just a suggestion. Contact Capt. Kit Darby at "Air Jobs"...you may have to google his name to find the correct company name. They have an extensive data base and I'm sure he will help you.

I've flown with him. A good choice if he "retired" before he was ............

Nice guy if you want to sit in the right seat and listen to "...OK, it's your leg. Now turn right 10 degrees now...OK, turn left 5 degrees now, hold your left hand on the thrust levers...yeah, I know we're level at 280 but it's a good technique, now start down when I tell you to, now run the decent and approach checklist...yada yada yada......

Ouch..G'Day to anyone who had to endure that experience.

He is a typical example of the leaches that suck off ALPA's blood, paid for by the line pilots that belong to that ponzi scheme type "union".
