I see your point but as an Airline pilot we can work all the holidays for straight pay.
Seniority is king.
My green slip today I was able to drop of my kids off at school and then pick them up at the bus stop.
I have no problem with working some extra days for some extra cash once in a while. My single mother worked 6 days a week when I was a kid and I knew she hated missing certain days with me but on the flip side I learned to appreciate her for her work ethic and learned life is not easy.
