Without renegotiating the covenants, creditors could declare us in default of the terms and seek immediate payment (obviously a very hardball move and not without expense and risk). This puts us back in good standing with the terms of that debt, although not without a cost. The question of bankruptcy still goes back to revenue versus expenses and whether we can continue operating while servicing debt.

Yes, take the EO.

Realistically it was never an issue but a hurdle we had to clear for our borrowing capability. We have cleared that hurdle.
Lol to the both of you! At this point in time, I have made the decision to take it.......but obviously the final decision isn’t made until the last day of the opt out period. Depending on the exit date I’m assigned, I’ll have to pay for a year+ of medical for myself. Wife’s b-day is August 31. She is a year older than me so will go on Medicare at the perfect time for a Sep 1 date. I’m hoping to exit Nov 1. That would be perfect for me to max out the 36 months and turn 65 at same time.

I've also been seeing a lot of emails the last few months of pilots passing away. It makes one think....

Some one said the 3 years before 65 are better than the 3 years after. I agree.

Hey Denny, was really happy when you made it back from that "thing" earlier this year.

I'm sure we all had different plans in February. Now, not so much. I know you'll do what you need to, and what is right for you and family. Reading your posts on the forum over the years I've got a mental picture of who you are, and I'm ****ed we won't ever get a chance to fly together. My goal was to get to SEA 330B ASAP after a stint as a 220A. This industry, volatile, has once again shown that one must be flexible. That 330B plan for me has been put on extended hold.

Too bad it most likely won't happen. You're one of the good ones Denny. Much respect. Would have loved to made a trip or two with you. Hopefully we can squeeze out of this on the other side better than before. Take care.
Drum, Check your PM’s. And thanks!

Checked and back at ya!

All the best Denny, class act all around.
Anybody see the new NB overwater training in LMS? What does that pay? Im just wondering, since it's like 12 hrs long.

Sounds riveting, I’m disappointed I’m missing out on that. I’m still waiting for the UNA LMS, though. It’s been a while since I’ve job searched or started a business so I could use the refresher course.
