Quote: So what happens when a rotation has 2 CA's assigned (and neither is a check airman?)

The note says "last minute marketing changes," or somesuch.

One CA will be removed. Assuming they are a line holder they will get rotation guarantee. Not sure if there is recovery or not.

The times it has happened to me have been on GS call outs. I got single pay and no recovery.

Alternating DHs until the eventual reroute. Nobody sits home for pay... well except NQ. What ever you do, don't mention SILs.

You only get recovery when there is an IROP on your rotation.

Removal for training sounds like company convenience, so no recovery.
Somehow I wound up with a SUPP day on my timecard. I flew 1 GS on RES but it was a <12 report one with (I think) no PB day due. And I had RES days later that month they could have placed a PB day on if that's the case.

Could it be due to a sick leave contest? Is there a list anywhere? I couldn't find one on Crew Resources or DALPA websites.

Just curious about my overflowing cup.

I would imagine it's due to the sick leave contest. There should be a list on Deltanet.
Ok, need a fairly quick answer. When is the earliest departure time you can be assigned for a trip coming off X days? It is a DH with an 1136 departure time for DH flight. I thought it was noon.

Thanks

Denny

Edit: Nevermind. I found it in the Contract. Trip cannot have a report prior it 10am coming off X day as long as it’s assigned by 1500 base time on last X day........Drat!
1000 report coming off X days, but has to be on schedule by 1500 previous day.

I think that's base time, but I was NYC based so I was always same time zone as ATL.

I believe that’s correct. The noon limit is for coming off a vacation day.
You are both correct as far a I can read. If it’s not assigned by 1500 base time on your last X day then I believe you are good till noon.

Thanks.

Denny
Yep.. Only gotcha is it just has to be on sched by 1500.. They won't/Can't call until 0001..

So I'd aways check schedule at 1501.. Screencap it with the time, then just wait for the inevitable call for short call.
