The guy I know of did not get the job but was contacted by the VP Ops to be told the "bad news". Better than an email or form letter if you ask me...

Any insider scoop on why the potential applicant did not get the job?
Interview? Technical questions? Low on the hours compared to others? Etc...
I recently read a Delta Hiring Thread where they mentioned that if you messed up a certain portion of the interview then you were done - FOREVER - never allowed to reapply! I'd not heard of that approach before. Heck - even the Blues let you apply over, and over, and over
(Not me if you were wondering either - a guy I knew of who got in on his 5th try I think!)
My point being - it is nice to get another shot if desired.
