I am guessing that this will be the direction the mod discussion go. We will discuss it though.

There are other sites that allow political banter and we all know what they are.

I disagree. I don't have a dog in this fight and could careless what the mods decide (because they don't care about what we think) but its a little suspicious that the guy that the entire thread was about signed up to tell/explain their side of the story and the thread gets locked. So we go through several pages of crap and then when some truth comes out to discuss the thread is locked.

Then you are making things up in your own mind. If you think there is some conspiracy against the pilot, then repost his message and TRY to have a discussion about it without diving into discussions that violate the TOS that you agreed to when you signed up for APC. Keep the Red-vs-Blue and names out of it and your can have you discussion.
Proof positive though is that this group has shown in the past that they just can't do it.
And yes - it went several pages of crap. The thread should have been locked way before it was. Maybe since you seemed to have known it was full of crap, you could have reported it?

I was an innocent bystander and never even posted in the thread. No one needed to report that thread to the mods, they were neck deep in it.
I don't think we need a political forum because like you said it can't be discussed with civility on an anonymous forum. The only thing that bugged me was the Guy comes out to tell hos side and then the thread is closed. Any way I don't care enough about it to start a new thread. Maybe someone else does.

I don't know about "they" meaning more then one, in that specific thread anyway.

But I see what you're getting at.
