Boss Hoggin,
I honestly can't tell if your posts are windups or not but for what it's worth, here's my advice. You would be well served to heed the cautions of the posters here with first hand knowledge of Emirates. I myself spent 16 years there - 11 in training. I'll tell you this. When I was training new hires, they broadly fell into 2 categories: those who had done their due diligence and who came with a realistic knowledge of what they were getting themselves into - they weighed up their situations and determined that Emirates was a net improvement in their lot and the others who had "drank the kool-aid" and couldn't be bothered about the cautions that I or others offered. "This is going to be great. Flying all over the world in a 777/330/340/380. Captain in 3 years." The thing is, when I saw my former students a year later, it was the latter that were bitter and ****ed off.
Now as far as what you might be getting yourself into, if you think that this is going to be your fore to big jets, consider this; there is a $50,000, 5 year bond on joining AND another $40,000, 4 year bond for your upgrade. You will have a bond hanging over your head for at least 7 years and most likely longer and given the punitive culture of their flight operation, an upgrade is anything but a given. The point of a job like Emirates is to be able to parlay it into something better somewhere else. I lasted almost 16 years because I joined very early (1996). With what that place has turned into, I doubt I could last a year. Everything that others have written IS TRUE and there is no sign that the practice of "beatings will continue until morale improves" is going to end - or even moderate!
There are other avenues to big jets that are much better stepping stones than Emirates and if you are even considering Emirates as a final destination, stop, take a deep breath and reconsider.

Buddy of mine left EK after nearly close to 11 years. He was a 777 CA there and had fewer days off than a regional pilot. He's now at a US major in class for narrow body FO. My impression from him is that they work guys to the bone and pilots are jumping ship.

Honestly guys I was thinking I could go here for a few years to get out of debt. The student loans have me in a head lock!! So the thrill of being debt free, with a wide body type rating has me contemplating EK. First year Pay is what, $100k? Where else can I go to make this type of money the first year?

One of the issues is that getting to an interview is very very difficult. You need 3 calendar days just to travel. Get with a regional and at least have the opportunity, time wise, to get to an interview or job fair.
