Flying at Atlas(ACMI) is like working at any on demand 135 outfit. Except you fly big jets and the stage lengths can be 4000 miles opposed to a couple hundred. And you're gone 17 days.

Today I'm in Bahrain. Yesterday I was told I am flying to Amsterdam. Today I was told I am going to Hong Kong instead. Maybe tomorrow I will go somewhere else... but I'm fairly sure I'll be home by the 9th.

I don't fly at Atlas.

If one has to read a 500 page thread just to be interested....eish.

It may be time retire that thread and start a new one as the times they are a changing.
Cheers
I agree, time to retire the old thread that has become to long and filled with too much non relevant fluff and start a new one with updated info.

Quote: It is nice to post the schedule, but there may be some issue of proprietary information, security, etc that may warrant not posting schedules in the future...IMO, posting schedules is NOT a good idea.
Good point ... you never know where those pesky KAOS agents might be hiding (Get Smart pun intended)

OMG!!! Someone asked a question outside of the other Altas thread! And he doesn't understand the schedules so he asked to see an example to better understand?! HE is NOT ACMI material. GET OVER IT ALREADY.

The other thread does have a great wealth of knowledge, but it's also about 5,240 (and growing) replies, of which about (speculating from what I've read, which is a lot of it) 2000 of repeated/superfluous/worthless information.

Thank you to those who post relevant information and to those who ask good questions. It's very helpful.

Good luck to all who seek.

Changes? We don't need no stinking changes!
My entire schedule just changed from ICN, PVG, HKG runs to NRT, ICN, PVG turns...

But yes, you will experience some version of what has been posted in the previous examples. Just shake it all up and throw the dice.

I have been here for 5 years, was furloughed 7 months, and have been based in STN, ANC, JKF, HSV, ANC, LAX.

Keep in mind that they are not really Atlas schedules, but rather the customer's schedules.

Don't worry. It will change.

FWIW, life on the 767 can be a bit different. We don't have the varied route structure the 747 has, so although things can and do change plenty ahead of time, once you get going, you'll probably stick with the plan, unless you've got a long layover somewhere really nice.

Looking back, my sked looks like the ones posted, but looking ahead is different. JFK 767 guys have been bidding reserve lines since october. Maybe we'll get lines of flying to bid for when AMC picks back up, but who knows. CVG and LAX have set schedules, so those bid packets look more normal.
