Day 1- flight departs JFK/BOS between 6-10pm, you fly 4-6hrs to SDQ, STI, BQN, PHX, ABQ, etc
Day 2- sleep during the morning, eat lunch, sleep during the afternoon. Flight departs late at night local time and fly 4-6hrs back to base.
Day 3- land with the sun in your eyes at 7-8am, stumble to the crash pad and sleep more during the day.
It is great for commuters, since you finish early on day 3 (assuming you don't have more RSV days left) but you only get 10-11hrs credit for those 3day trips.

And while the Airbus doesn't have many high leg trips, I'm pretty sure that some trips do have 5 legs up and down the west coast (LGB-LAS type of stuff). So while not nearly as common, not true to say "never."

I have been on the 190 almost a year now and I have never seen a 5 leg day, unless you count Dead Heading a 5th leg. I have only seen this once!

I'll be happy either way - although I intend to bid the 190. I would rather fly some extra legs and get paid a little less, than fly red eyes.
Maybe after 2+ years I'll bid over to the bus. Guys seem to enjoy "the office".....now if only the phone would ring with the class date.

I have never seen a 5 leg day without a DH, and that was once. 4-5 leg days forever like Benz says is a total lie on the 190. Now 2-4 leg days, well yes that is more accurate. I did one red eye and hated it the next day. I am staying as far from the bus as I can for as long as I can for QOL. That's just me tho. Hope you all get calls soon for those waiting.
