Does anyone know how long after the assessment until you get an invite for a real interview? I'm really excited to meet someone face to face! Thanks
The computer "assessment" is a section of new-hire computer-based training designed by Fulcrum Labs. They are in the process of making nearly all of the ground school and systems introduction be computer based. I'm guessing they are trying to do this so they can save on hotel costs, but it is a long way from being all computer based at this point (tons of errors and training is not nearly as effective as formal lecturing currently). They are making improvements to the training after each class goes through it, but I think it is at least several months from being fully approved without instructors.
I was in the June new hire class and we are the 2nd class to do this form of training and had instructors there to lecture and answer questions. If you wanted to pull your hair out after doing the assessment, then you will probably lose your mind in new hire training, because there is A LOT more Fulcrum with your name on it if you accept the job! lol
