Quote: A break from APC would be a good idea. How about after the vote closes?

Tell you what, Rock, since our votes will cancel each other out (and we are obviously split personality), how about you change your vote to no, and I PROMISE I'll change my vote to yes. Deal?
I should do that because I don't recall the last time I've voted on the winning side of an election or vote. If I change my vote to no, it will almost guarantee the TA passes.

Now if I could just find a soapbox to stand on, I could really go off. But then someone would probably come on and tell me I've used up all my internet time.

I'm guessing the wife forget to give you your meds today? Maybe too much coffee also?

Good workout and all my teams won or are winning.

Oh great, mine just painfully lost. Probably against yours. So that's not a good omen....

Quote: Mitch, enjoy your pending retirement. I'm happy you got "yours" out of this TA. Oh, by the way, I can help you pull the ladder up if you'd like.

I see what you're saying Bob. I originally thought that if everyone read the contract and voted what was in their best interest, we would have a decision that was considered "the best option" by the majority of the pilots...either yes or no. So we should actually vote what we think we know is best for the other pilots. That way we get what we think is "the best option" for the minority of the group. Very altruistic. Mother Teresa and Gandhi are surely smiling.
How could I have been so blind. With that, I have ditched my "Vote No" lanyard and changed my vote to YES. Who am I to deny those that have put so many years into the company and are within a year a retirement all the bonus money they will see under this TA. I am ashamed that I was being so selfish. Thanks for opening my eyes.

Baron, I will more than likely retire under this contract as well as Mitch. That's "bribery" money not bonus money you're talking about. Your eyes are still closed. Vote your conscience,...I did and I think Mother Theresa and Gandhi are smiling now.

I'm sure the silverback is only looking after his own silver backside. Since he is planning on retiring in a year or so, that 40k must be appealing. Even though he won't have to work under this contract for any length of time. Pull that ladder up!

Me, I am hoping to leave in 10 years. Unfortunately, I'm not 54 yet so no soup for me. With the whopping increases in the B plan, I may accrue about 40k extra in the next 10 years. That's if I hit 260K for each of those 10 years. I guess that's my exit bonus.

TOGA!

Well said, Golf. Due to the timing of my parents "making me" I qualify, but I'm still a "NO".
Cheers,
