Now fly the contract.
Little late for this advice, don't you think? 57% have spoken. It's "Every Man for Himself!"

ALPO is dog food! Will never wear one of their stinking lanyards again! What a bunch of lame duck sellouts!!!

Whatever, dude. We, the pilots, are ALPA. We elect the leaders. We ratify contracts. I doesn't matter what the name of the organization is. It's only as strong as its members.

Good point Busboy, although ALPA Natl does play a part in this industry's dowsnlide. I'd like to change the facade of the storefront, but, it's only us running the store who can make the real changes happen.

You can always quit, we'll, I guess you really can't.

Part of a democracy is the ability to vote with your pocket book. Agency Shop prohibits any pilot here from doing so without getting terminated. Amerika!

I will vote yes on the next TA, 10 years from now, a long as it provides a career supply of lube to go with it. I don't know if ALPA will approve that though because they don't get a cut.

If you envision a life of poor health and multiple marriage failures you will find it without the help of a "contract". The work we do was hard twenty years ago and it will be equally demanding November 2nd! If you don't like it, I hear there are other airlines currently accepting resumes.

I'm still stunned; I'm a 25 year FDX WB Captain who voted "No" as soon as the ballot opened, then tried to change my vote to "HELL NO!" after reading the Motley Fool article quoting our CFO's comments on the "productivity gains" in this T/A. I'm not spending my "signing bonus" as I fear I'll need it to pay for the health care increases coming in 2017....

Hell of a collective "mentoring" we are leaving for the new guys.

After 3 TA's, why would anyone trust our leadership again. I have nothing against a yes vote. I do have a lot of concern at a contract being "sold" to the pilot group.

So I know where we stand as a group. So there should be no complaining of guys doing draft, MUS, or working any overtime. Our leadership has said with the extra pay, our retirement will be ok. I said way before this vote, that if the TA passes, it would be everyone for thenselves. Thats whats it going to be now. If we enter 4.a.2b again, I would expect everyone to fly carryover and not protect min days off.

Our leadership has done more to break our union than the company ever could have.

The Unions (Alpa 1, FPA, Alpa 2) have always been weak! In my humble opinion, if this contract was voted down, the Union and the Unity of this pilot group would have disintegrated!
