If they stick to just the agenda items, make a realistic pay offer(see Fedex TA for a start), and put an automatic 5% pay raise every year a new contract is not agreed to, willing to listen. While resting paw roughly on the " no" icon.

My reliable source may not be, I don't wish to appear stoopid(er) and you should go visit the other forum to see the rumored items over there. This whole thing might be stillborn.

So is it jesus, open permit, or supply side economics that makes you so angry at that forum? I'm sorry but
claims of Marxism by a mustachioed WB drivers makes me inkled to treat that evil forum as closer to common sense then anything I see here.

You'll get "pounced on by the thugs" if you just go there and read? Wow! Rough place

Yup. Particularly if you are a delicate flower.

Brief history lesson for the new folks...

The current UA Forum is an independent forum created as a result of ALPA shutting down the old "official" ALPA operated forum. (Long story.) Some of the same characters are still there, some have retired, and many more new ones have joined. So it's the same but different.

But.....I'm just shocked, shocked I say, that those unionists on the old official forum would not be receptive to right wing dogma.

The only Dogma being tossed around on THAT forum is Marxist. Let me be clear, there is not a free exchange of ideas on THAT board unless you are talking about the contract and even then you could find yourself being accused of being a scab. That board tosses the word SCAB around for anything they don't like. I happen to believe a SCAB is one who crosses a picket line. According to many who were around in '85 there were a bunch of loud-mouth tough-talking ALPA members who crossed the line during the strike. So I personally am very suspicious of those who toss the word SCAB about and assign that term to anybody they happen to disagree with. But there are way too many blowhards talking about political Marxist thoughts and way too few who are willing to take them to task for their left-wing socialist utopian drivel. It's not being a delicate flowers it's more like running the gauntlet and getting kicked in the teeth every time you try to counter the argument. I have been threatened physically for merely suggesting that I disagree. That is a THUG mindset. I chose to leave.
