Quote: Pssssst, how do you know that I have never worked for Allegiant, and who said I work or have ever worked for expressjet?

Let that sink in for a second sport.
Oh I get it. You're trying to tell me that you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. Message received.

Absolutely lost it right there. Unfortunately, 100% accurate. Regionals will never retain talented support staff or flight attendants. There are just much better jobs available. They aren't treated well and most that are smart enough to get out go running 4-6 months in.

Quote: Oh you know exactly what I am talking about, which is why you are getting defensive. I mean you are the one that has to defend your silly statement . Go take a midol, relax, and reflect on your frame of mind, sport.
Holy crap! You're out of your fu@$@ng mind dude. You're flight attendant material for sure. Go get me a bottle of water now Francis.

Quote: Whoa, quite a potty mouth you have there young lady.

Yea, you should really take that midol with a refreshing drink of water.

regional life got you feeling pretty sad bud? Every now and then we get someone on here that is so hopelessly unhappy at XYZ regional that, despite their best efforts, they are unable to conceal it. You guys stick out like a sore thumb. Oh and only someone who doesn't understand gifs would continue to use the same one over and over again (see: grandparents).

After 9 years of sitting in the right seat I've decided to move on from Express putting in my 2-week notice this week. I was on the verge of a 'commutable' upgrade, but my quality of life would taken a step backwards by having to commute and being on reserve, not to mention still sitting right seat as a captain qualified first officer. And there's end in sight for anyone on reserve right now.

I found a gig that will have me home with my family everyday and upgrade within a year. To my fellow co-works (CRJ Atlanta) its been a fun ride, and I've made some good friends and enjoyed the folks I've worked with, but the future of Express does not inspire confidence right now, as most folks I talk to are actively searching and have already got class dates else where. And now I see management has requested another meeting to discuss the MOU over the agreed upon upgrade quota and other man power issues.

I would recommend keeping your options open and have a solid plan-B just in case things go south here, as some would say that Express has already entered into a death spiral.

So what's the deal with that email the union sent out yesterday? "This proposal will incorporate every applicable MOU and LOA to date, update current practices, and align us with some SkyWest practices". Are they really shooting for a SkyWest merger now? Sounds like JB won the war.

I've been thinking the same thing for the last month, but some same it will never happen. I hate to be negative but maybe that's what will save ASA...
