Hey guys,
I was hoping to get some advice on regional choices. I really don't want this to turn into my regional is better then yours, but I'd like some honest opinions. I'm not asking you guys to make the decision, just point me in the right direction to do my own research.
I know next to nothing about 121 but it's time to make the move to further my career.
I'm a current 135 Air Ambo Pilot out of PHX. Though the pay, schedule, and QoL is outstanding, it just isn't what I want to do for the rest of my career.
My current times are:
3600 TT
2000 Multi
1800 TPIC (Mostly in Metro's, and a bit in the Pilatus)
Zero Jet or 121 Time
Without digging through every airline and CBA I'm asking for some regionals to look into.
I am 27 with a fiance and a kid. I'll probably move back in with my parents for a year to pay off any debt I have and to save for a down payment on a house (and also shed my rent payment).
What I'm looking for:
-Regional with a base near CLE (DTW, CMH, PIT)
-Regional with a long call reserve if possible so I can drive in.
-Has to be a jet, already have way to much TP time on my resume.
-Highest possible pay because the pay cut is going to be brutal.
-Commuter programs (Hotels in base) so I don't have to rent a crashpad if possible.
Thanks for the help in advance,
-j
