Another note, Xjet allows you to pick up from open time while on reserve (not all airlines allow this, I'm think), so if you live in base you can pick up 1 days to make some extra money over guarantee. That's what I'm planning to do.

Good luck trying to pick up open time on reserve. The chances of that happening are slim to none. There is a lot of criteria that must be met before you can pick up a trip. Unless you are on long call reserve, picking up trips on short call reserve is total BS. By the time it's your aggressive pick up window, the trip has already been assigned to a long call reserve or a line holder picks it up. Reserves picking up trips really doesn't benefit scheduling so they make it as difficult as they can

Nice propoganda here. Of course xjt has more pilots leave for the majors and lccs. For two reasons.

1. The ERJ and CRJ side combined makes xjt the largest regional in terms of pilots. Those numbers only look impressive bc xjt have a ton of pilots.

2. Everyone is /was trying to leave xjt because most people see the writing on the wall with United drawing down the 50 seaters and no CPA past Dec 31st 2017.

the Surface is not yours to keep. If you break it or lose it, you pay for it on a scale. Additionally, when you leave the company, as many are in droves, you must return it, or pay for it on the same depreciation schedule.
