Pay works out to $300/week. My take home was $560-ish every 2 weeks. It's substantard given that most regionals offer full or partial line guarantee during training. Was told they're working on better training pay. We got a nice steak dinner from the recruiters though.......so there's that. I was told line guarantee starts the day after you complete the final sim, but haven't seen it in writing.

If I am not mistaken, it starts when you finish IOE, since you're still consider "Pilot in training." However, you do get per deim during IOE. Correct me if j am wrong. That was my case.

You'll get positive space on United/Delta. Both sides differ on exactly when they'll give you positive space during training. Hotel is paid and they will drive you to and from.

ASA is when you start IOE. XJT is when you finish your qualifying sim checkride.

You can realistically expect $0/ year as of 12/31/2017.

I will have to find it again, but a former XJT buddy of mine at United showed us an update they got from the big wigs. It showed that over 50% of new hires at United in 2015 were XJT. And that with no flow or interview agreement.

On the ERJ side training is in Houston. The training is good quality but long (10 weeks). You get positive space on United to/from your home of record. Whenever you have a break of 3 days during training they let you positive space home. This was nice and I got to do it 4 times during training (and I jumpseated on my own once). The hotel shuttle makes rounds to the training center.

Hotel is single occupancy, which not all airlines (including Skywest) offer.

You also get all of the above for the CTP course. It's a 7 day course but I was paid for 2 weeks.
