It wasn't 3, but they were a lot smaller. The class of 3 was March or April.

August 2016 was when the class sizes started growing exponentially.

They usually “select” the names about two months out. No classes in December, so no reason to select anyone. Yes, if you were counting on it, it’s a bummer.

Looking at a mid 2017 seniority list, there was one person with a 5/9/16 hire date, two on 2/29/16, three on 3/14/16, four on 2/15/16 and five on 2/1/16. Of course there COULD have been more in the classes originally, but a year-ish later that’s all that was showing.

Any way you look at it, minuscule numbers until later in the summer, although 4/25/16 was about 25 or so. Could explain the single on 5/9 as after that the numbers seemed to be pretty steady of 6-8 and then climbed from there. 12-15 per class by late August.
