Depends on your definition of back side of the clock.

If you fly Z and do intra-Europe, some people try to stay on their normal body clock. If you land at 6am, it may only be midnight or earlier at home.

Asia is basically 12 hours different so if you fly at 10pm, that's 10am on your clock.

If you're talking strictly day/night local, then Z is pretty much all nights. The MD flies a lot of daylight internationally.

Sounds like the MD is a good option. Is the MD11 all international flying?

Sorry for my assumption.

Z = 757/767 international
MD is the -11.

Different types of flying. The MD and 747 do the trunk routes and the 757/767 bounce around in theater with a couple crossings thrown in.

Saw your edit.

The MD does domestic and international out of SDF. Out of ANC, it's almost exclusively international.

You can't do more than 2 domestic legs on an international pairing so that really limits what the ANC crews do since ANC to anywhere is considered international.

Not the SDF MD-11. We do tons of morning turns and domestic only stuff.

MD guys/gals are also really good and doing block and air turnbacks.

Anchorage is international based on the contract. Only two domestic legs allowed before an international leg. That's how they had the 747 doing DFW or MEM turns during Peak[emoji768]

13.A.12.e lets the company make 747 domestic duty periods over Peak.

Is there any word on which aviation conferences UPS will be attending this year?

Historically they've attended pretty much every single one for decades, even when there's no hiring going on. Airlines book and prepay those seminars years in advance.
