Didn't Abney say B2B is down due to the rapid shift to online retail and that's what will require a rapid response from UPS?

I appreciate that info. Do you know anything more about average times, experience, qualifications, etc?

Trying to gauge what's considered competitive at the moment.

What's ME3?

Anyone ever do the math for a 30 yr 60+ captains retirement without a flat dollar amount? I'm curious that someone said the flat dollar going away would force retirements.

I don't get too upset over training center comments about retirements. Most of the people there don't have them anymore and the ones with them are trying to scare the others from asking for more. How many times have we heard these middle level supervisors, or whatever the hell they are, comment that the IPA is running this place out of business?

UPS, $45+171+171+174+178=$147 Avg over 5 Yrs + 12% B-Fund ($18) Avg over 5 yrs = $165.

Variables:
1. UAL Profit Sharing Avg %15,for how long??
In 5 years at guarantee, you'll have earned 500 more hours than at United. 757 in 3 years at United can be done, but you'd better like being junior. Was there profit sharing ever 15%? I thought it was 13 last year and under 22 this. If you're going sheer dollars, hope you don't get sick and after about 2 years, maybe 3, youll collect another 71 hours of pay each year

Emirates, Etihad and Qatar airlines. They're going to have to add Norwegian to that list as well...lots of challenges on the international side for Delta, United and AA.

Definitely challenges. In amazed at my neighbors complaining about what seem like fairly reasonable air fares across the ocean, or anywhere. They'll pay more to park their car than to fly to Florida and ***** about the ticket price. I usually end it by asking them what they paid and what did they think that they should pay.

Anyway, I digress. I don't know about the other me3 but Emirates is starting to show some cracks including aircraft order several. It's pretty hard to find a sustainable business model in the passenger world these days. Now it looks like our big boys are going to try the economy minus thing of four themselves. You can't be all things to all people. Give up on the schlepers and do a better job for the rest of us. This will probably work as well as when ups tried to haul pax.

Turns out the Soviets recognized that they weren't going to get away with all their BS anymore and ultimately made moves to accommodate Reagan's policies. The same wusses shrieked like chicken little after the Lybia bombing in 1986. After that raid, they cried , Like Schumer, that the Lybian's were going to exact revenge on us..turns out that kept real quiet for a looooong time..don't be scared, everything will be ok.

Wow...that was unsolicited. Comparing trumpty dumbty to the great Reagan? You're stretching a bit aren't you? Also try to explain to all of us why a union guy like yourself voted republican (assuming you did, actually im sure you did). How is that Right to Work rules going to work out when half the membership decided they're not going to pay dues because the law allows them to get freebies from unions and not have to open their wallets?

Capitol Hill section of the B&G or FB if you want to discuss politics.
