What bonus? I know the recruiting bonus doesn't apply for rehires, and I doubt rehires are eligible for the type bonus.

A friend of mine quit about a year ago and now wants to come back to SkyWest. TG approves all "soft landing" returns and would not approve his?

I think its one of those "looks good in the brochure" type of things.

And surprisingly he's Mormon too.

You had to be eligible for rehire. If you call in sick for your last trip, or other farewell stunts, you will not be eligible for rehire.

As tempting as it is to go out in a blaze of glory, probably in your personal best interest to toe the line at the end. I've heard of folks getting a major CJO revoked due to being ineligible for rehire at their last job.

I just came back after a few years gone from SkyWest. I started back at my pay scale that I left off at with no problems.

Ya. People have used it.. and it works great. Heard 2.0 is on its way. And includes a pay bump for those here already that came from another airline.. Even if it was 15+ years ago.. there have been 2-3 now that i know that they said no to... Both had "issues" while here. Excessive reliability issues, commuting issues, being know to cause problems very vocal "NO" people...Crew support complaints..ect (im just guessing from looking from the outside)...
