I’ve been wearing Eccos every day for 5 years. Very comfortable and last a long, long time. Can’t give you a solid number on the life though.... I seriously buy them used on eBay.... not sure how long the first guy had them for.

Thank you.
That’s what I was thinking...

Way to resurrect a 3 year old thread with a ridiculous plug for your shoe line.
RM Williams. You won’t have to buy a new pair every year bc they won’t wear out. Don’t be deterred by the initial cost, think long term. My buddy has gone through a pair of eccos a year. |
Ecco. Clarks. Rockport

So I just read through the safety thread & it got me thinking about how beat up my work boots are. I work in an auto shop so besides safety toes the main thing is spill resistance. I prefer shoes for the light weight but wouldn't count boots out. I tried going to redwing when I bought the last pair but the few pairs I tried on didn't seem very comfortable & the salesman was a jerk so I went with the old fallback timberland pro. They're always comfortable & I get about a year out of them but they're really heavy & my feet hurt once they start wearing out. I'm looking for something light, comfortable & hopefully not too expensive.
You know these forums are for airline pilots, not autoshop workers, right? |
