Right now is not the time to be at SkyWest, and the way things are going, there may never be a time.

Yep. The sentiment is folks are not happy with what OO did to ASA/XJT, especially since OO is now starting to pick up LGA flying. 9E is a benefactor regarding the planes, but OO bled XJT dry to the point that Delta gave up.

Ok I get it but simply saying "you guys took airplanes from ASA/XJT right?" is weak.

They're talking about 9E receiving a bunch of airplanes from ASA/XJT, not anyone taking anything from anyone. It's 'lanta speak.

It couldn’t matter less how “that is being received in the industry.”

What to wear? I'd rather not wear a suit and tie to an airshow.
If you interview there is it a get to know you type interview?
Can you apply there?
Any other experiences?
Just wear a decent pants and casual shirt. The interview is probably just a get to know you type but who knows, they might pull out the full Monty. They need bodies on seats so don’t expect much resistance. The airline is no longer the “place to be” and is now much less desirable that many other regionals. It’s just a means to an end like the rest of them.

Good luck

They hire people who haven’t touched an airplane in over a decade.
