Not sure why those who have applied 2 months ago have not heard back. I’m not even at ATP Mins yet and got a response & Interview all within 1 week of applying. So something is prob wrong or got buried somehow.

no junior manning,
Does Skywest Jr Manning mean the same thing as any other junior manning? under the Skywest definition it means getting a phone call and ASKING if you are willing to take a last minute trip at 150% pay. If you are unable or unwilling they say "Thanks for actually answering the phone, Have a nice day" By you placing it as a first item on your bad things that Skywest does, I'd assume (yep ass-u-me) you think we are being forced to fly on our off days, which hasn't been a thing for so long (decades?) only a very few lifers can claim to have been forced into your inference of what JrMan means. Have you been learning propaganda and obfuscation from politicians or talking heads on CNN, MSNBC and Fox? Would 200% be better than 150%, yes it would, and it should be something SAPA tries to negotiate as a day of flight incentive. We've screwed ourselves by falling into the115%-130% and 150% tiered system, so until pilots stop picking up trips at the lower incentives the company will keep taking advantage of that. |

no junior manning, no ready reserve, 200% open time, non base discriminatory travel benefits, union lawyer protection, adequate staffing so they don’t only get 12 days off month after month.

Even disregarding the no junior manning, I listed 4 other pretty important things. We’re planning on having 7k pilots next year, and we’re not allowed to ask for improvements in the pilot contract that our competitors have had for years now? Seems kind of spineless to me. Why can republic get away with no ready reserve but we cannot?

My guess would be that the new hires are unfamiliar with these issues until they’ve been here for awhile and see their buddies at other airlines dropping and swapping trips, not sitting around at the airport on reserve, and getting travel privileges on the big 3 regardless of where they’re based, also making 200% in open time vs 115%
