Default Training SIM hours

It's been asked before but can't find the thread I was looking for.

I know expressjet gives a total of 72h of SIM time including CTP stuff, so basically you can show up with 1428h.

Anyone that went recently through CTP+initial? How many hours of SIM in total?

Thx!

Default Training SIM hours

I had 14 ERJ sims between the start of CTP and my ILOE checkride. I didn’t count anything but the full motion sim and I didn’t require any extra sessions. So 14 sims x 4 hrs/sim = 56 hours of sim inst time. There were 6 maneuvers training sims that you could probably count to get another 24 hrs. If that’s countable, you’d end up with 80.

If we get 80+ hours during training...then why do they want us to show up with 1475 for the 1500 R-ATP?, just a bit curious.

Who said 1475h? was it the recruiter?. I guess they can be as picky as they want to as long as it's more restrictive than the regulations, not less. Don't blame them, I'm just trying to do my math due to my unusual circumstances

You get a total of 38 hours of sim time from CTP-LOE. If you go over that by 2 hours then you enter special tracking. This is what they said but I believe I ended up with 40 hours and I didn’t use any extra time.

I guess that makes more sense, and it's the same a new hire told me in the past. Oh well

Every regional I spoke too. They'd say we can only give 25 hours, I dont know if they mean towards multi engine time. But that seemed to be the standards, except air wisconsin which is 1450.
