Should this be widely known throughout management? A peer asked this question to our training manager and his words were "I don't know". That was a summarization, but this agreement seems pretty crucial in deciding when one is getting a call-back. Got a link so I don't have to dig through skywestonline or UAs site?

We've hired UA pilots under the agreement twice though. 2004-2006 or so, and again after UA got rid of their narrow body equipment around the time of the merge with Continental around 2011? I believe the agreement calls for the hiring of 5 United pilots for each RJ over 50 seats that we operate for them and they come in at second year pay.
Whether or not this is still in the contract, how the details may have changed, or how it would be implemented I have no idea. I would have to think anyone that was in training, and it appears to me, already are on the seniority list, would get sent to training before anyone at United.
Side note, I've flown with a least two dozen United pilots under the program and they were all great guys to work with. (Except one, he was just OK) At least two, didn't go back to United when called and are senior CAs here now.

Makes sense. It's been quite the conversation topic 'round these parts, alluding to the idea that it matters to guys already with a number, whereas it really only matters to those waiting for a class date. It made me think we trainees are getting pushed ever further back. But thankfully, likely not.
