Does SKW honor seniority like a union shop?

If the last vote happened under today's rules it would have passed. There is more support for a union than there has ever been. People that would have never voted in favor of a union 10 years ago are now strong supporters. You call it over-confidence, I just call it confidence.

What I remember was being a probationary pilot being told we were not allowed to vote, which is industry standard. Industry standard Skywest went against push the last pay package over the top. Another example how management will rearrange the rules when need be to fit their agenda.

If during the first ALPA drive, if the voting window had been open just one more day, we would have already been certified. Numerous ballots were not signed making them null and void. The data base the company sent to the NMB was tainted and proven in court to be purposely inaccurate. My voting ballot was sent to my emergency contact's address which was my parent's address, many states away. While all the company propaganda showed up just fine at my own house.

Never underestimate the company's stretch to assure "operational need".

With the changed voting format, today it would have been a land slide approval!

I stil don’t buy it. Unless you can provide a link. As it’s a court dock. Easy to produce... I’ve never heard of what you are saying. SkyWest would have been all over the news and a revote would have happened if this was true..

I have no idea what court system it’s in. I do know it was shown in many cases to be true. Myself and hundreds of others were asked to submit the envelopes with the inaccurate addresses on them to an outside legal firm months after the vote. By then I no longer had mine, only a few people were able to produce them. I did sign a statement that my ballot had been sent to an address that was actually my parents address and not my official address on file with the company.
Also it been determined that ballots had been sent pilots that were technically on the seniority list but were in management which further diluted the vote as well. Kind of like yourself.
I don’t think the NC will make these mistakes in the future.

Sounds like it's pretty much like other regionals. Thanks for the dialogue, all.
To change gears, I'm at SWA and i heard about a month ago that there was a flow-thru brewing between OO and WN. I caught wind that some folks from SWA were milling around the training center in Salt Lick(sic).
Not flame bait, this is just what i heard and was wondering if any OO guys or gals have heard this as no other SWA line folk have that i have asked.
