Default April class date CRJ

Realistically with an April class date how much could I expect that to move up. 2 months? I know people have been getting earlier class dates. Also any tips on picking between EDV and Skywest both were my top choices and there are so many pros to each. From skywest perspective is there anything that I should really take into account. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is more a question to ask your recruiter. No one here really knows. I do know that a coworker of mine that already has 1500 was initially given April, but offered November or December (ERJ) last week, so if you have all your hours then it’s certainly possible to get a sooner date.

I got class date June 29th next year. then the next day they offered me April class. I chose June based on my college life. You can ask for June.

Why are classes booked so far out? Is there a training delay, or is SkyWest really that great of an airline? It seems like most other regionals have classes available quickly.

I think because of cadet students, they reserve seats for cadet pilots. if one or some of the cadets can't show up for his/her assigned class date the HR will offer that seat to someone else.
