Yup, ORD ERJ probably going to close. Got any investment tips while you’re at it?

What does that have to do with anything for a new hire? All the guys senior to you will keep you junior on that airplane and on reserve. Everyone I know that got shiny jet syndrome and took it as a new hire regretted it. Go to the CRJ, fly a lot, build up some seniority and then switch over if flying the 175 so important to you. Taking the 175 only makes sense if you want SAN, SEA, PDX, BOI. But you do you bro.

I've flown the 200 and the 700 before and did not really like either. On the other hand I'm not anxious to learn a new plane. But, from the way it sounds, the 175 is pretty simple and straight forward. Also, the 200s procedures constantly change and you have 200 procedures and 700 procedures. One Skywest Captain told me it was either for him to switch from CRJ Captain to ERJ Captain than it was upgrading from CRJ Fo to Captain.
How does the 175 fly, how long is the training, not including indoctrination, and are the procedures pretty straight forward?
