It has been almost 20 years since the aviation industry faced such an existential threat. I personally choose to be more optimistic, but the unfortunate reality is that the history doesn’t lie. What you’re saying could be a complete right-wing conspiracy type theory or it could be what happens. But you put it best: Plan for the long term.
