Transition/Stay on the CRJ?
Trying to make a decision about my future at SkyWest and want APC input. I was previously ATL based, displaced to DTW and am now on CPTO with the occasional commute up there for currency. While I can remain in DTW with pending reductions, I'm trying to view a voluntary displacement as an opportunity for change. I've considered staying on the CRJ and commuting to DFW or ORD (seniority about the same) or transition to the 175. I previously flew the 175 at Republic in 2015 and wouldn't mind the fancy jet again.
My desired goals are probably the same as any other line pilot. Commutable trips with best credit for a pairing and max days off.
So, what would you do?

Certainly and will absolutely move to a base when I'm hired on at a major airline. Until then, my wife has the better paying job that's more stable and, near our house in ATL.

I believe he is right. Per an email to V.D. She has confirmed that there are only two more ERJ transition classes which are in January. Also, all new hire training that was previously announced by TTG is now canceled for 2021.

Good sources from the training department have confirmed that they have just canceled any plans for new hire training in 2021 as previously announced by TTG. Only 2 more ERJ transition classes left which has already been awarded for January.
