I got lucky and had interview options about a week after docs were submitted.

Check out some of this woman's videos about derived alternate minimums. She explained it really well, since it is a subject I had no reference to, coming into it as a CFI. She goes at it in pretty good detail because she is both a pilot and a dispatcher.

Thought I did well, interviewer seemed impressed, implied I'd likely get an offer but if not it's because of the 7 hours in last 30 days/116 hours in last 365. Oh well. Told to reapply in 6 months. |
