Just imagine a 65+ guy and an 800 hour CFI flying around a wounded, empty, 200. What could go wrong?
Not even considering how crazy it is anyone would even consider passing up on any flying without something SUBSTANTIAL in return.
If you are shorthanded, you need to hire and upgrade more. Bottom line.
Not push the finish line back so these lifers flying around RJ's for 140k a year can continue to dip in the fountain for a few bucks.

No one should be allowed to fly for the company that is not on the senority list. I can't believe they are even considering it. If you have a reserve about to break guarantee and a 65+ sitting at home who are you going to call? Who in their right mind want to do this after 65?

Blah blah blah, the people at CAMI said the same thing about 65. According to the FAA guy we had in the jumpseat, 67 is coming whether you like it or not.

Bring it on. I want to fly until I'm 80. And let PBS load me up so I can get out. Who wants days off when you are using each day to escape!!
I've heard the same story about an FAA jumpseater saying the paperwork was already done so that must mean 65 is here to stay!
