Default Status "Under Review"...

My status remains under review. TT 8050...121 TT 6210...CRJ TT 6080...CRJ PIC 4620...2 and 4 year degrees...737 type rating...5 year air safety chair (12 year air safety volunteer) at my former now defunct carrier...1005 CRJ PIC and 2 years at current carrier...no check airman experience but flying with 1000 hour restricted ATPs new to CRJ flying on a daily basis. Attended April 22nd "special pilot recruitment event" and was asked by SWA rep if I applied for job posting prior to entering resume and pilot credentials application review. Same SWA rep asked for my email address and confirmed I did apply for current pilot job posting. One recommendation addressing my resume and one addressing my application was made by SWA rep who did a detailed review of both. Made both recommended edits and it was then I discovered "under review" as my status. Pilot I met at event stated his status was listed as "closed" after briefly listed as under review. The SWA FAQ online states "once we've filled the position, the job status will change to "closed". Under review means we're still in the process of reviewing candidates."

The "Under Review" and "Closed" has me confused. If a guy at the April 22nd Pilot Recruiting event had his showing "Under Review" and soon thereafter showed it "Closed," how does the answer from the SWA FAQ make sense? Is it then assumed that this guy specifically is no longer being viewed as a potential new hire?

My two applications, from WIA and the 22nd, both still show "Under Review." I hope that's a good thing or maybe they just haven't reached my application yet.

I was told that applying to SWA with that kind of combat time will screw your interview as it will indicate your true desire to go to United.

That's funny, I only want SWA. I'm assuming you were joking, but if not how does combat time equal a desire to fly for United. Only think I can think of is it gives you that beating mentality😉

I think it was a reference to the recent passenger treatment issues in the news. A joke for sure.

Correct. And a sideways twist on the "737 type with no time" when interviewing at United ("dead giveaway you want to work for SWA.")

Centerline Interview Consulting
This lines up with the info posted on the RST SWA Facebook group tonight by a guy in training there now. Here's the relevant part for anyone not in the group:

"...I noticed the post about getting an interview offer and I just talked to one of the directors here, and next week the committee will begin looking over the group and sending out invitations. As you can imagine the HR and hiring teams are almost at full throttle so just be patient and you should start hearing from them in the next couple of weeks..."

I'm still "Under review" from the WIA job fair. I didn't have enough internet to score a spot at the latest event. Is there any chance their still looking at the WIA apps, or does it really mean "Was Under review but not anymore" ?

I received an invitation to interview today. I was at the 4/22 job fair. The email says to log back in to Pilot Credentials to find the new tabs for paperwork and to schedule the interview, but the new tabs are not there. Anyone else get the email today? See any new tabs? Anyone know a trick for getting to the new tabs? I already refreshed.
