During the career fair SWA had right around 2000 people apply within the first 6 hours of the application window opening. So I think they are sitting good right now with applicants, we will see what a few more years does to the applicant pool.

Don't know about AA, but DAL/UAL will expire 1 year after you paid for them, if you don't renew. I was emailed for the hogan literally on the day my UAL app was to expire. Was already on at AA (LUS) hadn't updated it or thought about it in a while.

At SWA fair they also said they only they consider the apps after each application window. At the United veterans event they said after a year of no updates/activity the computer doesn't look at the app when they do a pull. Even so at 11000 apps and roughly 4000 hires a year that pool "should" dry up pretty quick. Rumor mill from American captain was they don't have much of a pool outside of their pipeline program. I'd be more curious how many new ATPS are being made each year to fill projected need over the next 5-10 years.
