Lots of AWAC guys going to SWA... But seriously, no regional guarantees you a trip to LUV. Get your mins and apply. They take folks from all backgrounds. Unless you’re rotor trash, in which case you are doomed.

What would be a better move for points on the SWA app?

Check airman position at a Part 135 operator on a super midsize corp jet?

Or

A new type rating (super mid
size) at a Part 91 operation?

Unless you have the check airman box already checked, I would think it trumps a type.

The very last day as a Jetstream pilot, your skills are more finely honed than they will be at any other point in your career. If you fly for 40 more years, you will never be that good again.
