I am not SWA (UA) but go to Dr. Griffin. He's an 'electric' guy, and it's a disorganized experience, but it's $40 for a first class if you don't need the EKG. From walking in to out, it has never taken more than 30 minutes, even with a packed waiting room. I don't think he would be the best to go to bat for you if you had an issue though. I just went a few weeks ago, and one thing I liked was he is doing pilot physicals on a few days of the week, and seeing regular patients on the others. He is a local family doc, and it cost $40 to see him for anything and he does not accept insurance. I like supporting him, and how he keeps medicine accessible.

Anyone ever used Gabe Fried in N. Dallas? I’ve seen him since I got my PPL 15 years ago and have never had a problem, but I’ve also never really had any health issues. I’m wondering if I should switch to Kramer as I get older. I’m pretty sure Dr. Fried gave Orville and Wilbur their 3rd Class medicals before their first flight so I’m not sure how much longer he’ll be around.
