First of all, thank you for years of great commuting experiences on SWA. I try use you guys as much as I can.
The rest of April is going to be challenging getting to work and much of my plan is to use SW. Right now my commute on Thursday looks pretty good, but I have noticed ticket prices creeping up.
Is SWA capping flights? And if a flight is capped will they deny a jumpseater in the back?
Thank you,
Beech

Are you talking from a social distancing standpoint? If so, I've seen zero mention of anything like this. Our loads are under 10% last I saw. So, I don't think thats a concern at this moment.

Thanks all. At Jetblue, we’re capping flights so something that looks open may actually not be. Was on United flight Sunday and they had funneled so many folks from other canceled flights on to that one I was starting to wonder if I was going to make it.

My point is that in cost cutting mode....hauling 2 people is a waste of money. Cancel the flight and rebook people or don’t ask me for help in Oct.

What everyone above means to say is that yes, you are welcome as always. No, we are not capping our flights currently. If the flight is not canceled, it is a go.
I can't speak for every pilot, but I would welcome you in the flight deck if it came to that.
Commuting is turning into a hellish pursuit these days. Good luck. Lots of cancelations in the current schedule so check the day before.
If the flight shows sold out on Southwest.com that means it is going to be canceled.
