Seems to be a choice of what one prefers. Not necessarily better pay or qol.
as one who will need to make that decision I'm trying to find out why.

it would be nice to have more variety but I'm a pay per day and qol guy myself.
a lot of T rigged 4-days…but QOL on those long overnights is great. Not a bad hotel out there, and 14 hours is a short overnight.

For commuters, ETOPS trips suck. Early starts and late finishes equal non commutable trips on both sides. Other than the great overnights, I don't see any real allure. Even those get old after a while unless you start bringing family or find a new one out there.

Also lots of 4 day pairings in their lines, which sucks for trip trading. Most commuters from more than one time zone away burn up their sick bank while they are locked in to the ETOPS bases.

I would only take a lock if it meant a one leg commute and an upgrade.
