You are trolling. Good day.
Just what I thought. You do not know what you are talking about. Great Lakes is long gone pal.

They all have long and short flight . Nice deflection ,since you have no clue .

Many regionals aren't as bad as the great lakes et al but there are plenty of regional operations that routinely do 6-8 legs per day. I'm still an FO here and I came from multiple regionals where we did 8+ legs per day, and that was the only option, unless you were super super senior and could get a line with only 4 legs per day.

The behemoths like skywest and such may have mainline routes, but there are still quite a few regionals out there where 4 leg days are the baseline, and more is the norm.

Not all airlines can be run as well as TWA.
Talking to my friends who went from 4 legs a day flying a 50 seat RJ for the AA Wholly Owned regionals. they don’t notice much difference at SWA besides flipping more switches on the 737 and getting paid a lot less to do it.

More like 3-5. I don’t think any regional still does 8 legs a day, even garbage ones like Piedmont that mostly do short flights

can confirm as a piedmonster…most trips now are 2-4 leg days with at least one day filled with a 3 hour sit. But could be base dependent. I honestly miss the 5 or 6 leg days that last only 9 hours. Each flight only 60-75 minute credit. Wham, bam, done. Flip side, Piedmont has done me well. Got me off reserve and upgraded quickly. It’s not perfect but I wasn’t furloughed like some other AA WO which is what I cared about for our younger peeps.

I am sure all now have 2-4 leg days. Mr TWA is still back in 1981

Politely hi-jacking the thread here…I’m a mil guy with a CJO from SWA, so I don’t have experience flying more than 2 legs a day (even flying two legs a day is rare).

Does flying 2-4 legs a day truly get tiring in your 50-60s? To me, it seems SWA offers more days off per month, but you work harder when you’re at work.
