Default Application Status

For those who have recently applied, how long did it take your status to move from "In Process" to something else? I am guessing no news is good news, but getting a little anxious as I've seen a few people already get phone interview invitations for this time around.

I finished both applications (Pilot credentials and the SWA job posting one) Dec 17th and received an email Dec 30th to schedule and interview. Interview is Jan 26th. Hopefully this gives you some insight🤷

That doesn't change. You'll just get an email saying they'd like to schedule you an interview. Don't use that in process as a barometer.

The status will stay “ in process” even after you are hired, it never really changes is long as you are moving along. If they pass you but it will say “closed complete”. I was offered the job I’m November and it never changed until after I was fully hired.

Gotta wonder what makes someone choose this airline in this hiring environment, especially post 1221.

Apply everywhere and go where you can get in and then keep updating elsewhere you’d rather be.

It ain’t as easy as saying, “I’m gonna go to FedEx or Delta”. Can’t go to places that don’t offer an interview or CJO.

Take the first job offer. Take the first class date.

Sorry, not my intention. Just thinking it's got to be tough to decide between all of the opportunities these days. I'm curious about that thought process.

I agree go to the first place that calls and get a seniority number, then if you still want to go elsewhere keep trying. But if the music stops, at least you have a seat.

Same interview date for me. Also, same outcome on when I applied to getting the invite.
